Hyseni: Dialogue won't resume as Kurti says it will continue where it remains

Former National Coordinator for Dialogue Kosovo -Serbia, Skender Hyseni, has said that Kosovo- Serbia will not resume, as Albin Kurti has stated it will happen in Brussels on 15 June, when it will also meet with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq. Prime Minister Kurti's “Declaration that everything will start from scratch does not [...]

Prime Minister Kurti's “Declaration that everything will start from scratch does not stand, because it is neither Kurti nor Vuciq who can impose the format of dialogue resumed in July last year. Beyond what one or the other says, June 15th marks the continuation of the dialogue resumed on February 21st of last year, as it is a format that has been agreed on and closely harmonised on the plains of what is called transatlantic relations”.

Hyseni at Rubikko in Klan Kosova has called what Kurti says about this issue irrelevant, until he has stressed that dialogue will continue where it remains.

I've heard these days also the terminology of contemporary technology, which will have a ʹresettingʹ or éresthetim of dialogue. These are more statements about internal consumption than that it will actually happen and it should not happen otherwise but that dialogue will continue where it remains, on the basis of those fundamental principles that have served me during the renewed dialogue in July of last year. I have called my Bible and my Koran, out of which I will not come. It is important to respect principles and has no weight if someone calls it a restart of dialogue, continuing or new dialog”.
