After meeting with President Vjosa Osmani, Hoxhaj said that setting the date for local elections should take place after the CEC is completed.
“We think that the institutions that deal with election organisation should have plenty of time for the process to be well prepared. This is what we've been looking for as October 31st of this year. We think it's under the deadline. It would allow that our municipalities have enough time to prepare for elections, but above all the CEC and other relevant institutions”, he said.
According to him, no other political party is more prepared than the PDK for local elections.
“The PDK as no other political subject is well prepared for local elections. You saw the last few weeks with party colleagues we've been in the field. Except we have our first appointment for mayoral candidates... ] The PDK demands that before the date for elections the CEC will be received, and we demand that the PDK meet the second member of the CEC. We think all legal arguments are on the PDK's side and are expected by the president on this very topic to show that it represents the interest of all political parties and Kosovo citizens”, he said.
Regarding the Pristina chairmanial candidate's appointment, Hoxhaj said they are in domestic party debate for a winning name in the capital.
“We have so far had a serious internal debate, which implies who could be the one presenting a literal force of change. There is no final decision for Mr. Ismaili because by procedure the branch should then propose to approve central leadership”, he said.
He has also spoken of recent statements on the KLA war of Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla, who he said is talking about as if he were Russia's foreign minister or Serbia.
I think what Mrs. Gervalla-Schwarz, who on behalf of the Government of Kosovo is striking the fair war, fighting the sign of the Kosovo Liberation Army is unprecedented and in my view when the foreign minister speaks the government and if that is the government's position in relation to our glorious war, and in the way that Mrs. Gervala is speaking as if he were the foreign minister of an opposing state of Kosovo, Serbia or Russia is serious topic, and we expect from Kurti and his government to distance itself, and if Kurti has a different view of distance and Kosovo has never had any government that has ever had been with much anti-government. - U n CK, rather than the current government”, he said.
