Through a Facebook text, Hoxhaj says the CEC under the leadership of Daka was one of the most reliable institutions by organising the best elections in the region.
The last “years, the CEC, has been one of the most reliable and professional institutions in our country, being responsible for the best elections in the region year after the year”, Hoxhaj says.
Osman's move, he calls it a blow to democracy and violation of the contrast.
“This decision of a presidential ring, in the service of a presumption ring, is one of the next and heavy shocks being made to the democracy of our country”, he added.
Moreover, this decision also constitutes constitutional violations because the president of the Republic in no country that has constitutional parliamentary democracy cannot dismiss any of the members of the body that organises and prepares the holding of the” elections, Hoxhaj added.
Enver Hoxhat's complete Facebook script:
The duo Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani are committed to destroying and apprehending each independent and credit institution in our country. In their efforts to turn back each democratic process and dismiss each professional official, today Vjosa Osmani on Albin Kurti's orders dismissed CEC chairman Valdete Daka from office.
In recent years, the CEC has been one of the most reliable and professional institutions in our country, being responsible for the best elections in the region year after year.
This decision by a president, in the service of a boss, is one of the next and the most serious shocks being done to democracy in our country.
Most of the reasonings provided for its dismissal have nothing to do with the competencies of the CEC chairman.
Moreover, this decision also constitutes constitutional violations because the president of the Republic in no country that has constitutional parliamentary democracy can dismiss any members of the body that organises and prepares the holding of elections. And the fact that the decision was strictly personal and political revenge proves that the decision was made on the eve of announcing the date of local elections by questioning their organisation.
Unfortunately, the resentment and inferiority these two people have towards the historical and statehood developments in Kosovo will not stop with these actions. With this leadership, anger and government amateurism, the risks awaiting Kosovo are numerous and alarming.
To this confusion and to these ugly decisions, no one should be silent.
