Haxhiu: Not only is Mladic guilty of this crime, but Serbia too, we must prepare well for genocide against them

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has praised the verdict for the life sentence of the war criminal and one of Bosnia's genocide leaders, Ratko Mladic. She said that this is certainly good news not only for thousands of families who have lost more [...]
She said that this is certainly good news not only for thousands of families who lost their best loved ones but also for international justice itself.
“For this crime is not only responsible for Mladic, but Serbia itself as the responsible and planner of this genocide. Serbia's state under Slobodan Milosevic's leadership has committed genocide in Kosovo, except in advance in Bosnia. The crimes committed in these two countries are not individual, we find them planned and ordered by the Serbian state itself”, she wrote.
She says Kosovo must prepare well the genocide indictment against Serbia so that justice can be put in place for thousands killed, thousands of women and men raped.
“In this direction it is necessary to provide well with state evidence through the Institute for War Crimes and the strengthening of justice institutions for addressing war crimes, to prepare the Genocide lawsuit against Serbia so that justice can be put in place for thousands of murdered men and women, thousands of homes destroyed and many stolen property, and an entire people driven from their lands”, she wrote.
Mladic was sentenced to life in prison today at The Hague. Reading the decision lasted about an hour.
The Appeals Chamber dismissed all complaints filed by Mladic's defence. On November 22, 2017, criminal Mladic was convicted for the first time, for ten of the 11 points of the indictment.
