Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has called on the Kosovo Government to make the decision soon to make new economic recovery measures, which should include the economic crisis exit strategy.
Through a post in his Facebook account, Haradinaj said that in April, according to official figures, a decline of over 57 thousand jobs is seen. Economic indicators show that this figure is expected to decline even further.
“According to official employment data, it is argued that increasing the number of jobs has been directly influenced by measures of the Economic Recovery Programme. By 2020, 403,709 jobs were declared, this figure reached 411.692, in March of this year. Unfortunately, in April, official figures see a drop of over 57 thousand jobs. Economic indicators show that this figure is expected to drop further”, Haradinaj wrote.
He has warned that if new measures for economic recovery are not taken, more economic crises in the country will deepen.
“After considering the impact of subsidising businesses in creating stable jobs, we recommend to the Government of Kosovo as soon as it makes decisions on new economic recovery measures, which should include exit strategies from the economic crisis, so that the country's economy stabilizes as soon as possible. On the contrary, we continue to risk further deepening of crisis”, Haradinaj has ended.

Given the impact of business subsidies on job creation, we recommend to the Government of Kosovo as soon as it makes decisions on new economic recovery measures, which should include economic crisis exit strategies, so that the country's economy stabilizes as soon as possible. On the contrary, we continue to risk further deepening the crisis.
