Richard Green has asked Rama about the initiative of the mini-Shengen and the “non-grata” of former President Sali Berisha of the State Department.
Green has written that Rama has made it clear that he is frustrated with the EU. Rama said that decision means no one is above the law and that the time of impunity is over.
I'd say on one side it's sad to see this reality, but it's a signal that the American administration continues to be a voice of reform in justice. For me, it was more or less like announcing the end of transition and the end of impunity. No one is above law”, Rama said.
He thanked former Grenelli for his contribution to the mini-Shengen initiative.
First of all, I have to repeat that you're more of a contributor to the mini-sengen initiative I thank you for your role. On the other hand is an unresolved conflict because of Kosovo's non-recognition from Serbia. But it is possible to develop life without barriers between people and goods”, Rama said.
Prime Minister Rama criticised the EU for making a decision on Albania's membership in the European Union.
“The EU has given the assessment and promise that Albania and Northern Macedonia will join the EU. On the other hand, there is a decision because the EU is based on the decision-making of all states and then when a state disagrees everything is prohibited”, Rama said.
