Greece is one of five European Union countries that do not recognise Kosovo's independence, but official Athens has announced it will help Kosovo obtain visa liberalisation for EU travel.
Kosovo and Greece have recently strengthened economic co-operation, so the third joint economic energy forum was held in April, organised by their foreign ministries.
This week, Athens told Belgrade it would not recognise Kosovo's independence, but which, as Greek Foreign Ministry sources say, its “attitude towards Kosovo is not changing, but Kosovo is improving its presence in Greece”, Serbian media reports.
