The government at today's meeting has approved the proposal for reviewing general and specific measures for control, combat and prevention of COVID-19.
Health Minister Arben Vitita has stated that in the past two weeks, the number of positive cases has dropped by 65 percent.
Based on this, Vitita said the gradual release of anti-Condavid measures is proposed.
According to the IKSHPK's latest report, the COVID-19 epidemiological situation appears stable, with the continuation of a positive decline. The decline in positive cases in the last two weeks compared with the previous two weeks has seen a decline of about 65 percent. In such a situation, referring to current data on the epidemiological situation and IKSHPK recommendations, we propose the continuation of gradual easing of measures that allow for increased economic activity but simultaneously added check”, the Year has declared.
Vitia said the measures will be reviewed in two weeks.
“The reduction of measures is being made in relation to three key objectives: preventing the spread of infection, non-economic activities, but having a priority on preserving public health and maintaining the mental and physical health of citizens. Measures serve to keep the situation under control. Changing the epidemiological situation requires new decisions and measures to conform to the new situation. The assessment of restrictive measures will take place after two weeks”, Minister Vitia has declared.
