Gjergj Deday says Vjosa Osmani fired her to make her husband's place at the Embassy

Through an open letter, Deday said that he was an extraordinary ambassador who carried out the ambassador's mission in a fine way.

“As you are aware, on May 19, 2021, President Osmani politically dismisses, without any warning and justification of 12 ambassadors of the Republic of Kosovo, having this fate, as political revenge and creating favourable circumstances for her husband, to lead Embassy to Skopje, which has proved true! Although I was highly provoked, without wanting to talk about my sacrifices and merits, now extremely habitable in our society, my reaction in this case was proportional to the act of promotion, degradation, damage to my integrity, prestige and health and to my family! In this letter I don't want to talk about my great mission in Northern Macedonia, others will say it, but the violation of my four-year legal mandate, it was a huge scandal against Vienna law and Convette!”, he wrote.

Dear Lady. Gentlemen,

First I express my consideration, desire and hope for strengthening the democratic institutions of the state of Kosovo, rule of law, respect of the Constitution of Kosovo, the fight against crime, corruption and nepotism, as well as civic equality, ethnic, political, religious, racial and gender equality in the Republic of Kosovo!

As you are aware, on May 19, 2021, President Osmani politically dismisses, without any warning and justification of 12 ambassadors of the Republic of Kosovo, having this fate, as political revenge and creating favourable circumstances for her husband, to lead Embassy to Skopje, which has proved true!

Although I was highly provoked, without wanting to talk about my sacrifices and merits, now extremely habitable in our society, my reaction in this case was proportional to the act of promotion, degradation, damage to my integrity, prestige and health and to my family!

In this letter I don't want to talk about my great mission in Northern Macedonia, others will say it, but the violation of my four-year legal mandate, it was a huge scandal against Vienna's law and Convention!

From MPJD through phone and writing, I was notified by competent officials that all 12 downloaded ambassadors will exercise their mission, according to Vienna County and Law, until the arrival of the new ambassador and the payment of credentials in Northern Macedonia!

In fact, I tried to devour this injustice, to accept this unfortunate and institutional injustice, with the intention of preserving the face and image of Kosovo!

To be the scandal even greater, on May 26, 2021, I have my next decision, to release the office and mission on May 27, 2021, within one day, making it impossible and difficult for my mission and legal procedures of return like all 11 other ambassadors!

For this institutional, revenge and consecutive megaskandal, I have recognized the leading leaders of the RMV as well as some of my highly honored and highly respected colleagues, accredited ambassador to Skopje!

I've written you letters on your addresses, ladies and gentlemen, to reflect on and to attract this decision entirely illegal, nonhuman, denigrative and perspiration, to date I've received no answer!

I don't think you will use the vote of the martyr people of Kosovo, the power of a party and absolute, for political vengeance, and if by June 30th, 2021, I don't get any clear, fair and concrete answers, my battle for justice, equality and dignity, impose me to continue, seeking the support of local and international justice institutions, using all the allowed political, democratic and legal means to protect my integrity!

I do not demand to complete the mandate as the decree allows me, until December 2022, abort, but insist on asking for the same treatment as all 11 other ambassadors, not only to me, to expel, crime, discrimination or mistreatment, for legitimate reasons, revenge, ordered and known for me, which one day would make public!
