In the Ferizaj-Stime magistrate, dozens of concrete pillars across the street have occupied the stature. It is in the Hiziare of Ferizaj that the new electricity network is replacing the entire vast network that each day is jeopardising residents until there was a great deal of tension.
This village, located in the southeastern part of Kosovo, is becoming a permanent solution with electricity. KEDS there is investing about 100,000 euros in the electricity grid.
The medium- and low-tensity network is being resected and replaced by completely new network. The new tax, which is being deployed in this village, will have sufficient capacities to cope with the demand for consumption, while the 120 pillars that are being deployed will boost community security.
This will directly affect more quality electricity services for residents of that area.
That these investments have been waiting for years, says the head of the Kostunica village, Sadik Qerim.
It is known that just as in other towns and villages, war has done much damage here. Both domestic and electrical damage. Now after a period, even though it's already invested in smaller parts, at our request, KEDS has taken the decision to invest and make me a new network. We've had low blood pressure problems before, but now we hope that with these investments, we will no longer have trouble”, Qerim said.
Meanwhile, Ozman Osmani, the leader of one KED team that is performing works in this village, says that from these works, residents will have markedly better services. With the completion of this project increased security, the capacity of electricity supply increases, the demonstration of old pillars, and a new trafous placed in the Sport Hall”, Osmani added.
The village's own inhabitants are among these happy investments. They even rejoice greatly at the removal of wooden poles that are being replaced by concrete pillars. “For the work of KED we are very pleased because the pillars of the wood are being removed and the concrete is being settled”, Remzi Jakupi, resident of this village, said.
These investments are the living of KED's commitment to getting closer to Kosovo citizens and constantly improving services for them.
