Faton Klink: If special files come back, we'll have to publish the will to be guaranteed for KLA leaders.

Faton Klinaku, head of the Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans Organisation, has said they do not plan to hold the election assembly once, despite being ignored by leaders. In an interview for Klonkosova.tv, Klinaku has said that due to the arrest of the Special Court of Directors of this organisation, Hysni Gucati [...]

In an interview for Klonkosova.tv, Klinaku has said that since the Special Court of Directors of this organisation's arrest, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj have no longer filed files as late as last year. He has indicated that if those documents were to be delivered, they would still be public.

Since the arrest of Mr. Gucati and Mr. Haradinaj, has brought no one back, and in this direction we think the prosecution at The Hague should investigate itself about the flow of those files from their offices, and there has been no need or need to arrest and keep OVL KLA leaders in custody, who have done nothing but inform the opinion that the Specialised Prosecutor's Office is served with the files of Serbia and Serbian criminals, he has indicated.

And since we've been against this trial, any material that comes to us and is in general interest we're going to publish”.

Klink has also said Kosovo institutions should find a will to ensure the freedom of special indictees.

“In the Law for Specialised Chambers, Article 41 points for protection in freedom, it only requires political will from state institutions to ensure this”.

INT PLOSE ERVIS:

How is the KLA's OVL functioning, given that Chairman Hysni Gucati and Deputy Chairman Nasim Haradinaj are in custody at The Hague and are expected to hold any assembly of the organisation to select new bodies?

Faton Klink: The KLA's OVL performs daily work with parties and field activities. She has her organs Headship and the Steering Council. I, as head of duty, apply the decisions of organs. The Steering Council, like the highest body, has not decided on holding the Assembly, because the heads of the Organisation are still in custody and has not yet begun a judicial process for them.

The Specialised Chambers in The Hague weeks ago have returned some equipment seized. Have all the equipment returned, were they in the state of their capture, and how did you assess the action of their return?

Faton Klink: All the equipment, except for the camera device, has been returned to us by Mr. Enter Gucati, equipment they received from the Specialised Chambers, their office in Fushe Kosovo. The lawyers told us that something illegal was not found on the device.

Have you ever contacted any of those arrested in The Hague, whether Gucat, Haradinaj, or others? Can you share something that is lawful to separate from the conversation you may have had?

Faton Klink: I've been contacted many times with Mr. Gucati and Mr. Haradinaj, when they call the phone. They have said that during the day all detained in The Hague stand together.

Gucati and Haradinaj have been arrested on suspicion that they have been obstructing justice administration by distributing, according to the tribunal, files and reports that were not allowed. As we know, there was someone who brought these files to your offices. By their arrest has anyone come to bring something to OVL offices and how would you act if someone again brought in such materials?

Faton Klink: Since Mr. Gucati and Mr. Haradinaj, has brought nothing back, and in this direction we think the Prosecutor's Office in The Hague should investigate itself about the flow of those files from their offices, and there has been no need or need to arrest and keep OVL KLA leaders in custody, who have done nothing but inform the opinion that the Specialised Prosecutor's Office is served with the files of Serbia and Serbian criminals.

We as the Veterans' Organisation have rejected and opposed the Special Court because it is a single-ethnic court and it deals only with the NLA and is served by Serbia's files, as U previously served NMIC and EULEX, and do not deal with the crimes and massacres caused by the Serb conqueror during wartime in Kosovo.

Since we have been and are opposed to this Court, any material that comes to us and is in general interest will be published.

One issue discussed many weeks ago in the country is also ensuring the freedom protection of former KLA leaders. Do you think Kosovo should do this, though by the Government and the Presidency have claimed that they are not the ones who can do that? In whose hand do you believe it to be this issue, and do you have a plan if no one moves in this direction?

Faton Klink: In the Law for Specialised Chambers, Article 41 points of 12 is also envisioned in freedom, political will is needed by state institutions to guarantee this.

Do you still think that the Special Court should be moved to Kosovo, and where do you base such a request?

Faton Klink: We as the OVL of the KLA have sought out local courts in Kosovo, which would judge all crimes. This court does not judge the crimes and massacres of the Serb invaders, so we have not recognised and recognised it because it is an ethnic and is based on the testimony of the Serb conqueror.

Where did you base a pension increase requirement for war veterans?

Faton Klink: In the Law on the Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army by No. 04/L -261, which is in force, reportedly the pension for the veteran cannot be less than the minimum wage set in Kosovo.

The other law, on changing and completing the law 04/L -261, which refers to the categories of veterans, which is number one. 05 L-141, it's not in force because it hasn't become the category, nor has it ever started. Article 16 A point 3.1 says that until we final classification of the KLA's Warrior Veterans list, the pension scheme applies as it is meant to basic law.

How did you assess a statement by Prime Minister Kurti made in Brussels that the Balkans should be released from criminals? Was it proper in the way it was spoken?

Faton Klink: About this statement we have publicly asked the prime minister to explain.
