EU member states have reached agreement to lift travel restrictions for eight countries, including Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia.
For a country to secure a safe country's status, it must register a maximum of 75 positive cases with coronary per 100,000 residents in the last 14 days.
However, the pandemic has made each EU member state decide for itself whether to allow travel from various countries.
In May, the EU Council officially lifted restrictions on nuclear travel for third-nation citizens who were vaccinated with all the required doses of the vaccine against Coronavirus. /A2
