According to Rama, despite Albania meeting the conditions, Brussels' internal problems have prolonged the process.
Before the pandemic, the talks were decided to open, further this was extended because a decision had to be made to call the First Intergovernmental Conference. Unfortunately, I have already learned not to be surprised at what might happen in Brussels, because it is a matter of internal dynamics, a consensus story that sometimes is difficult, normally we should take the green light considering that there is another problem between Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia, and we will see if this problem will be solved”, Rama said in an interview for French television “France 24<3>.
