The chief of the EU office in Kosovo, Thomas Szunyog, of northern Mitrovica, has declared that electricity must be paid and that they are working with the parties to reach this solution.
“As far as electricity is concerned, I think it's best to find a sustainable solution as soon as possible, which on the one hand would provide sustainable electricity supply and on the other side pay for it because it's quite normal for people to fulfill tax obligations”.
“We are working with all sides to reach this solution and I believe we are on the right track”, he said.
