He has declared that the solution should include paying those bills.
These comments, Szunyog made them in Mitrovica, after completing the delivery ceremony of eight truckloads for collection at the company's facilities, éStandard) in the north.
As far as electricity is concerned, I think it's necessary to find a sustainable solution as quickly as possible, which on one side would provide safe electricity supply, while on the other side would be paid for electricity, because it's perfectly normal for people to pay for it. We are working with all involved to ensure this sustainable solution as soon as possible. I think we're on the right track”, Szunyog said.
Recently, it is the government led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who has allocated over 10m euros for covering the electricity expenditures of northern Serbian citizens.
The government Kurti was criticised for such an act, which it had rejected months earlier.
At the end of April of this year, with 6 votes per and 3 against, the Commission for Economics, Industry, Undertaking and Market has voted in the next six months, the System, Transmission and the Kosovo Energy Market (KOSTT) to cover electricity expenditures in the four Serb majority municipalities in northern Kosovo.
Residents of four municipalities in northern Kosovo have not paid the spent electricity bills, while these debts by the end of 2017 have been billed to citizens from other parts of Kosovo. It is believed that since the end of the war so far the value of electricity debt in the north has reached the value of over 140m euros
