In a publication of this embassy on Twitter, Palmer has also been grateful for his contribution to the resumption of talks between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the European Union.
“Thanks Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer for his visit, productive meetings with Kosovo leaders, repeat partnerships between the two countries, and the resumption of talks between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the EU”, reportedly in the publication of the American Embassy on Twitter.

We remember that Palmer is continuing to stay in Kosovo, under a several-day visit, which he fulfilled along with the European Union's special envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
During a media conference that was held yesterday, Palmer said the main goal of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia should be mutual recognition and that the US will not find compromises to reach a final agreement, as it belongs to Pristina and Belgrade.
