ECCLESIVE: Using the first time Sami Kurteshi is for the dismissal of Daka

Sami Kurteshi for Periscope has said that the decision to sack Valdete Daka has been led by President Vjosa Osmani and that there is nothing more to say.

“I don't have any comment, the mayor is fired. That's what the president did. The Mayor isn't in power, and whatever I say the most, I just overreact. What I had to say was I officially said”, he said Periscope.

Among the reasons in President Osmani's decision to sack Daka is the allowing of long-term documents in recent elections, which was made by Sami Kurteshi.

Asked about this reasoning, Kurteshi stressed that it was the president's finding and that she wrote it down.

Yeah, they're the whole president who found them. It's the president's decision, you can deal with it and I don't have any comets, absolutely no comment I don't have. All I've done is tell him about the election, with the CEC, and I've already told him it's the whole time.

Daka's dismissal decision was also criticised by Civil Society organisations, who called it a political decision.

After Daka's dismissal, Vjosa Osmani has named Kreshnik Radoniqi in the position of CEC chairman.
