Two men were arrested after the incident, French media reported, reports Periscope.
The man in question reportedly shouted “Down with Makroni-Zmin” until he slapped the president.
After eating the slap, Macron returned to the same barrier and began to interact with the fearless mob again.
There's neither identity, nor the motive of men in question.
French politicians have strongly condemned the incident, including the leader of the far left Jean- Luc Melenchon and the leader of the extreme right, Marine Le Pen. /Periscope
