A lawyer who visited Protasevich and his girlfriend Sophia Sapga confirmed that he is in good health but casts doubts that he was tortured by authorities.
Sviatlana offered no evidence of her claim, though Protasevich's family has also indicated that their son authorities will kill him if the international community does not intervene.
Protasevich and his girlfriend Sophia Sapega were arrested on 23 May after their plane was forced to land in Minsk. Belarus denies the abuse of those arrested.
