Djuric called Citak's statements shameful.
He said counterfeiting history could poison future generations with hatred.
This is just embarrassing. Can't you even leave our national day in peace? Thank you for showing the world that what you really stand for is intolerance and ethnic tribal hatred. P.S. Forging history will not help your cause, it can only poison future generations with hatred”.
Former US Kosovo Ambassador Vlora Citaku has reacted to the former special sister for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Green, where he wished Serbs for Vidovdan.
Citaku in her reaction has clarified to Geneli that Kosovo's battle was not for Serbs and that the Balkan Army took part in it against the Ottoman Empire.
The “was not the battle of Serbs; it was the army of the Balkans that fought against the Ottoman invaders. This battle became the fundamental myth that continues to fuel Serbian nationalism since the 19th century, holding us all hostage”.
Former Special Witness of the United States Richard Greenell wrote about the festival of Serbs yesterday, Vidovdan.
He says Vidovdan heroes should be honoured, since in 1389, the battle against Ottomans in Kosovo began.
Today we honor heroes #Vidovdan”
On this day in 1389, the battle against the Ottomans began in #Kosovo”.
” Today is a memorial day for St. Lazarus and Serb holy martyrs”.
