Kosovo's government has approved the decision for new antiCondavi-19 measures, allowing partying such as weddings, engagements and proms until 11:00.
Kosovo government on the basis of recommendations by the Kosovo National Public Health Institute ( The IKPK has decided that organizing weddings, engagements, family parties and proms is allowed on condition that 30 percent of the space capacity is exploited by 100m2, but no more than 200 guests in cases where 30 percent of space capacity exceeds that number.
Health Minister Arben Vitita stressed that according to the latest IKSC report, the periodological situation with Covid-19 in Kosovo emerged stable with the continuation of the decline of positive cases.
Vitia said that the ease of measures is, of course, being done in relation to the three main objectives: preventing the spread of the Quaddy-19 infection, not violating economic activities, but given the priority of preserving public life and health and maintaining the physical and mental health of our citizens.
The set measures with this decision proposal, as well as deadlines, serve for the epidemiological situation to be kept under control even for optimistic epidemiological data in relation to Ovid-19. The gradual removal of restrictions is being made with responsibility and with the necessary preparations for coping with an eventual situation of increasing the number of infections. So the change in the epidemiological situation therefore requires new measures to confirm the new situation. The assessment of taking new relief or restrictive measures will be made again after two weeks. Therefore, on the basis of recommendations provided by the National Public Health Institute, the ministries of the line, the interest parties and relevant experts demanded approval of the draft decision for general and specific measures for control, prevention and fighting of the wordience Individual-19”, Vitia stressed.
Also in the Assembly of the Government of Kosovo, the draft law on ratification of the No. 1 Credit Framework Agreement of August 14, 2020, between Kosovo and the Council of Europe Development Bank for financing the project, “Emergency Response to COVID-19” has been adopted.
Finance Minister Iron Murati said this amendment adds to the 20m-euro basic agreement, totaling 60m euros.
“This bill is finalisation of jobs that have been provided under procedures in the Law provisions for international agreements, and now after signing as a ratification bill in the Kosovo Assembly. This amendment to the Framework Agreement adds another 25m euros to the basic project and thus achieves a total of 60m euros, which are dedicated to the health sector”, Murati said.
Finance, Labour and Transfers Minister Murati suggested that no pledge fee will be paid for this loan.
