Daut Haradinaj: 17 October is the starting date for our capital to be the first Pristina

Pristina Mayor Daut Haradinaj's candidate, via a post on his Facebook page, has reacted after the day was scheduled for holding local elections.

Haradinaj has said that October 17th will be the turning date for the capital, which is the first to be Pristina.

Pristina citizen “deserves to finally breathe freely and pride himself in his town. This race is not a challenge only for me and my team, it is an open invitation for all citizens to be a direct part of the revival of our capital”, Haradinaj has said.

As a group, we do not compete for self - ego and political fulfillment, nor for arrogance and thirst for power.

Our approach to the race for Pristina is serious, and a whole mechanism is in motion by melting all of their capacity and expertise for Pristina with more dignity, which will make the capitals of the region and wider.

Day-to-day we're going to extend our programme that some may even look ambitious, but for our team, with work 24/7, it's accessible and necessary.

Pristina citizen deserves to finally breathe freely and pride himself in his town.

This race is not just a challenge for me and my team, it is an open invitation for all citizens to be a direct part of the revival of our capital.

Together, we will do good things for our Pristina.
