Initially, in the absence of indictee Ramadani and his lawyer, Naser Soopyan, it was found that delaying the initial review.

The session in which Valon Ramadani is accused of dropping tear gas in the Kosovo Assembly and obstructing official persons in carrying out official office was meant to begin at 2: 00 p.m. However, since the accused and attorney Sopijan were not present at the trial hall, Judge Krasniqi postponed the session for July, reports “Justice Vought”.
For this, she said Ramadan would be issued for forced behaviour, while lawyer Soopyan will be invited at regular invitation.
However, after the completion of the process, the accused Ramadani and the lawyer Soopyan appeared in the courtroom.

Thus, the fifth attempt to keep the initial review in this case will take place on 13 July, at 1: 00 p.m.
Meanwhile, present in the courtroom was prosecutor Besart Mustafa.

While the next two sessions, December 17th 2020 and February 24, 2021, were postponed at Ramadan's defence request.
Meanwhile, the April 15th session had failed to be held due to the absence of the accused.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, on July 30, 2019, has filed an indictment against Valon Ramadani, with the reasoning that he committed two criminal acts and “the use of a dangerous weapon or tool”, from Article 375, CPRC's paragraph 1, as well as for “obstruction of the official person, in carrying out the official task”, from Article 409, paragraph 1 KPRC.
According to the accusation, on March 21, 2018, in Pristina, exactly in the Republic of Kosovo Assembly Hall, accused Ramadani, deputy of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, in violation of the applicable law on arms, has used weapons in the manner he has lit up and thrown a tear gas tank during the development of the extraordinary session.
The accusation is said to have prevented officials from carrying out official positions, Kosovo's Parliament deputies, in time, the country, and the highest manner, the accused Ramadani has, respectively, from using tear gas and the work of an extraordinary session of the RKS Parliament.
