U.S. Coronerius' origin investigation

Experts have said the 90-day investigation, requested on May 26th by US President Joe Biden, will push intelligence agencies in the United States to collect more data and analyse what they already have.
Former US State Department officials, during former President Donald Trump's administration, have called for additional investigations, as have other scientists and the World Health Organization.
Many scientists, including physician Anthony Fauci, have said that they still believe that the virus comes from nature and is borne by animals in humans. The researchers of the virus have not publicly identified any new scientific data that could make the hypothesis of the coronary flow from the laboratory more likely.
Virologists have also said that there is little possibility that any final answer to the origin of the coronary will be made public in 90 days.
Work to confirm the origin of viruses in the past as SARS or HIV/ AIDS has taken years or decades.
What are intelligence agencies analyzing?
Beden has ordered revision of what the White House has considered “to be possible scenarios”, of carrying the virus from animals to human or flow from the laboratory.
In a statement by the White House, two agencies in the intelligence community -- 18 of them -- point to the assumption of carrying the virus from nature.
A document that has received new attention is from the US State Department, published in the last days of the Trump administration. It points out that the United States believes that three researchers in Vuhan, China, have sought respiratory medical treatment in November 2019.
The report, however, is not final: The origin and rate of staff disease are unknown, and many people in China go to hospitals regularly, not emergency, but routine control.
The document also points out that experiments on changing viruses and diseases - what could potentially cause death or spread - were done in a laboratory in Vwan with American support.
However, the director of the National Institutes of Health, Franic Collins, has denied that there has been American support in such experiments in the vaonavirus in Wuhan.
David Feith, who served as deputy assistant to the Secretary of State for East Asia and Peace Affairs during the Trump administration, has said he has backed Biden's call for further revision.
The president's statement implies that there is more to analyze and more data to gather”, Feith said.
But the National Intelligence chief has denied commenting on the issue, the Associated Press news agency broadcast.
Why are you blocking China's investigation?
In the White House statement, China has been criticised for lack of transparency.
The failure to send inspectors to the field in the first few months will always hinder the investigation into the origin of the choreography”, the White House said.
China has reportedly forced some journalists to leave the state in recent years and has silenced or imprisoned informants from Vuhan and other countries.
Lack of transparency in China is very important and already known challenge. But this does not really indicate that something is hiding.
The problem lies in that when you make any announcement (like Biden's call for investigation) in an extremely political environment, this makes the co-operation on the part of China less possible, in terms of finding the origin of the virus”, Janzhong Huang, senior global health researcher at the Foreign Relations Council, said.
What do scientists believe about the origin of the virus?
The most convincing argument for investigating the possibility of the virus exit from the laboratory is not based on any new data, but on the fact that other cases of the virus's circulation are not confirmed by 100 percent.
The greatest possibility yet is that the virus has emerged from wild living”, said Arinyy Banerjee, virologist at the Association for Vaccina and Infectious Diseases in Saskatchewan, Canada.
He has said that it is common when the virus is transported from animals to humans and that scientists already know of two similar coronarys that have developed into bats and have caused epidemics when humans are infected: SARS1 and MERCS.
However, the case is not completely closed.
“Possibly. Since no one has identified a virus in animals, 100 percent identical to the new choreography, there is still room for research and other possibilities”.
How long does the process of confirming the origin of the virus last?
The 100 - percent confirmation of the origin of the coronary is not a fast, easy, and always possible process.
For example, scientists have never confirmed the origin of smallpox before the disease was eradicated through a global vaccine program.
In cases of SARS, one of which is caused by the new coronary, scientists have identified such viruses in February 2013.
Later in the year, scientists have discovered what the disease may have been mediating: civet cats have been found in the animals ' markets in Guangdong, China.
But until 2017, researchers have not found the original source of this virus in the caves of bats in the province of Yunnan, China.
How important is it to understand the origin?
From a scientific perspective, researchers always want to understand more about how disease develops. From the perspective of public health, if a virus is easily passed from human to human, the discovery of origin is not essential to the map of disease prevention strategies.
The questions about origin and disease control do not amount to the same thing when man - to - man spread becomes a frequent item”, said Deborah Seligsohn, a public health and environmental expert at Willanova University.
Republicans have pushed ahead the idea of more investigation into the idea that the virus has emerged from the laboratory and the impeachment of China.
In the United States alone, nearly 600,000 people have died by coronarys, at the same time the highest number of victims compared to other countries.
What happens after 90 days?
Many scientists believe it is unlikely that a 90-day investigation will provide final answers.
That's the case, Stephen Moore, a disease researcher at Columbia University, said.
“Even under the best circumstances, we rarely get so much security”.
Any findings are likely to be politically explosive, especially if there is data that supports or rejects any theory.
And failure to reach conclusions, which could be inevitable after 90 days, could strengthen conspiracy theories.
Meanwhile, experts like Huang from the Council for Foreign Relations suspect that China can be isolated even more, what could potentially complicate relations but tense with the United States.
This is probably going to make it even more challenging to give permission for another team to visit Vuhan, or unlimited access to investigations there”, he said. / REL
