Today at the Assembly session, in order of the day, is the election of a judge to the Constitutional Court.
Based on the document, provided by “Gazeta Inseder”, it is seen that the deputies of Vetevendosje Movement and their minority partners from the Serbian List have decided that the judge at the Constitutional Court of Kosovo will send Vigan Qorroll, who in recent years was a public supporter of Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje, and under the clothing of political analyst had served for Vetevendosje by attacking rival parties.
“Gazeta Online Insander” has provided the sign of the assessment of members of the ad-hoc Parliamentary Commission, where it is clear that deputies Mimoza Kusari-Lila of Adana Rrustemi from Vetevendosje and deputies of Serbian List Igor Simic and Aleksandar Rapajic estimate it at 10 maximum points, while other candidates with minimal points.
According to Insider's sources within the Assembly, opposition deputies at the ad-hoc Commission for the assessment of candidates for Constitutional Court judges have opposed the Vigan Qorroll based on Article 4 of the Constitutional Court law, since this article stipulates among other things that the judges of the Constitutional Court should be: distinguished judges with a fine professional reputation with no less than ten (10) professional work experience, especially in the area of public and constitutional law, and must be individuals with a fine moral reputation.
Parliamentary procedures for electing a judge to the Constitutional Court determine that the candidate should get the votes of two-thirds of MPs present at the session and participating in the vote.
In this case, Vogan Qrolli needs the votes of the Vetvendosje Movement deputies and the votes of the Serbian and non-Serb minority lists, which according to the assessment document that Insander has already secured.
We stress that until a few years ago, Vigan Qrolli had been adviser to former Justice Minister Hajredin Kuci from the PDK.
In the past, it was reported in the media that the Qorroll was caught in faghgard during the Jurisprudence exam, which he was taken out of the exam for. However, Fargan Qorooll did not stop his ambition to climb as high as possible into the institutions of justice.
It wasn't the first time that Farroll went to work in the Constitutional Court. He had also run in 2018, except for the member's position. But that had failed to secure votes from MPs.
Following the failure in 2018, Qroll came out openly in support of Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje, and on the other hand, had launched attacks on the PDK and its leaders now in The Hague.
However, as Kurt's coming to power, the Qroll seems to have already found comfort in the Constitutional Court. /Insider/
