Conjufca: Re-opening the theme of Zajednica is very dangerous

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said that the issue of the Serb Majority Community Association, which he refers to as referred to Vetevendosje in opposition, is closed and the Constitutional decision must be implemented.

He, at a rare media conference as chief speaker, said reopening this topic is very dangerous.

The stances of our institutions must be clear as far as the Serb majority is concerned. The position must be this association has been rejected by our Constitutional Court. After that decision, the effort to redefine a new association is very difficult, and I think that Kosovo institutions should not accept such an approach by themselves the fact that our Constitutional Court has said such an agreement on Brussels affects the spirit of our Constitution is too dangerous tomorrow to reopen”.

Our <x0 institutions should maintain the position that this is a closed issue, they should not accept to reopen the creation of Zayednica in Kosovo, since it has touched the foundation of our Constitution. The 2015 agreement has wanted to create the third level of power in Kosovo, which our Constitution does not allow. Now to say that Zayednica has fallen down, but another modalization must be found for me in Kosovo's Constitution is the wrong approach and should be rejected by any institutional official in Kosovo”.
