Conjufca: The most prominent KLA commanders are being held in The Hague, and we have a duty to protect them

Prime Minister Glauk Konjufca said the most prominent KLA commanders are being held in The Hague and that they should be protected, Periscopi broadcasts.

Konjufca called the KLA war clear and necessary.

They are there as representatives of the KLA, not as leaders of political parties. Our obligation is to protect them from this dimension. We consolidate groups that would deal with their protection, he said.

And let's say it's a process of international justice and we're watching it develop. That was unfortunately the approach of the past government. The new government should now be taken to be active participation in the process that is taking place there protecting our representatives, presenting evidence in favour of defence and rejecting Serbia's positions with which it aims to undermine both our liberation and its pure character, but ultimately citizenship and credibility in the international arena of Kosovo sovereignty”, he said.

In an interview for RTK, the deputy has also talked about dialogue with Serbia, where pessimisticly a deal can be reached within this year.
