Kosovo will participate with 11 players in the Summer Olympics.
The Summer Olympic XXX Games are held in Tokyo, Japan, on July 23rd, August 8, 2021. LO Tokyo 2020 was meant to be held in the summer of 2020, but the pandemic was postponed for 2021.
The International Olympic Committee decided that despite the postponement of a year, the Olympics will continue to be called “Tokio 2020”.
For the Kosovo Olympic Team will be the second Summer Games, following the debut at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Meanwhile, Ismet Krasniqi, from KOK, has announced on Kanal 10 which institutional leaders will go together with the team in Tokyo.
Vice President Vjosa Osmani has confirmed the turnout and will travel to Tokyo, while we are also awaiting confirmation from Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Culture” will also come with us, Krasniqi has said.
KOK's president has not mentioned who Osman and Kurt are invited to go on a trip to these Olympic Games.
