This has been disclosed through a communique for the media by the Health Ministry.
MSH has announced that both cases have shown symptoms, but the same have healed and are already in the house.
Full announcement from MSH:
Today we have received data from 22 positive samples sent to the University Clinic Virology Institute in Berlin, out of which were identified 2 (two) samples with SARS-CoV-2 versions Delta (B.1.617.2).
Both cases have shown symptoms, but they have already recovered and found themselves at home. Their isolation is over. IKSHPK teams have already traced all available resources and contacts to prevent further spread of cases.
The Delta variation was first detected in India in December 2020, which today is one of the most distressing versions on the Earth. General research suggests that it may be the version that spreads even more rapidly than Alpha (U.K/B.1.1.7).
Prevention measures are the same. Individuals who are positive must stay at home to prevent family and community spread. With the reduction of contacts, the outbreak of infection will be possible.
IK The KPS reiterates the call for implementation of all general and specific measures for protection from the COVID-19 pandemic and implementation of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo measures.
