And in order to best realise this process all municipalities have already made necessary preparations and say they are ready for mass inoculation. Along with medical teams, municipal authorities have also prepared areas in which the communication process will take place and which are mostly selected cultural and sports halls.
In Pristina, the mass immunization process will continue in the “1 October field”. Chief Director of the Family Medicine Centre (QKMF) Retard Halili tells Kosovo that they have already done the training of health professionals and that they have agreed to plans with the MSh and IKSHPK so that this process can be realised without trouble.
“Pristina Community in Co-operation with MS and I The KSHPK has co-ordinated all its forces since 15 June, when mass inoculation begins to take place in the best way. We know that even at MShA, an additional staff competition has been launched in order to mobilise and provide a quality service... a large number of staff at the main Family Medicine Center have been trained in this aspect of providing immunization services for COVID-19. I believe that with the help of the MS and the teams that are available right now and that perhaps will be needed in time depending on the interest of citizens with immunization will be offered a quality service”, Halili said.
Along with the capital, preparations needed for the start of the mass inoculation process have also been made in the South Mitrovica municipality.
Doctors Shefkat Sylejmani, chief of the vaccine sector in Mitrovica, says that with 12 teams at their disposal, it will be out. Sylejmani says they're actually equipped with only type of anti vaccine. - CO VID, Pfizer.
South Mitrovica's chief in the vaccine sector says up to 200 people are being vaccinated within the day.
We've been working our best on getting a mass vaccine started... we think that with 12 teams we're going to get out of here... the technical side we've only managed to fix it, the vaccine is done here at the culture center, where the environment is appropriate... We actually have vaccines as much as we asked for, it means for five days... ...from the Health Ministry we've been notified that through the platform Kosovo, by the age of 18, can apply all persons with chronic illness. Right now we have Pfizer's vaccine, which the most people are worshiping”, she said.
Space preparation, but staff to launch mass inoculation also made Prizren. The health director in this municipality, Narqize Hoxhaj, said even this municipality has already made all the necessary preparations for this vaccination phase.
She says that along with eight medical teams are planning to increase medical capacities to 18 units in order to provide better services.
Hoxhaj further stated that mass inoculation in Prizren will also be realised in the sports hall “Sezai Surroi”, since he considers it the most favourable area for the process.
“Vaxination is under way now and several months, massive inoculation of Prizren citizens is expected to take place. We're prepared for this vaccine. We have the vaccination teams, which are trained professionals, and right now we have eight teams that are carrying out the vaccine and one team and four nurses. It's supposed to be 18 vaccination teams in the future, so I guess we'll do it as well... The vaccine is under way at the Sports Centre Sesai Surroi, and that's where the vaccine will continue to take place for this mass inoculation. We believe it's big enough space and it meets all conditions and as long as it's with larger spaces for the Prizren municipality”, she said.
In a written response to Kosovo, the Ministry of Health has announced that the competition for 422 additional nurses has already ended, while presenting 190 specialists in the process of vaccination.
“Under the Action Plan envisions increased capacity in human resources, meaning increasing vaccine teams from 89 to 279, the competition for an additional 422 nurses has been completed, will also engage 190 specialists in the vaccine, the necessary protective equipment for staff has been provided. The vaccine is currently secured and more vaccines are expected, the vaccine module is being built in the Health Information System, and new vaccine spaces in 30 Kosovo municipalities have been added. Also, other logistical preparations have been carried out for the process to begin next week”, said in the MS's response.
Based on this letter to Kosova Prees, Mr. has announced that just as it is envisioned in the State Vaccination Plan against COVIDD-19, with massive vaccination compared with the age of over 65 and those with chronic diseases, is also planned to vaccinate teachers and security servants.
“As far as categories are concerned, they are defined in the State Vaccination Plan against COVIDD-19, where in the second phase it is becoming vaccinated of people over 65, chronically ill people, to continue with teachers, security services that are related to management of COVID-19 and then to the next phase (fasis III)”, MS said.
Up until now, over 92 thousand citizens aged over 65 have been vaccinated in Kosovo. While currently Kosovo is making distribution of Pfizer-type vaccines and the accepted AstraZeneca donation from COVAX.
