A major influx of vacationers from Kosovo has been registered this Saturday at the Vremica border point.
According to Albanian border police data during the first five days of June, over 30,000 vacationers have crossed the border to enter Albania.
Only last weekend have some 15 thousand Kosovo citizens entered Albania, while in the first four months of this year through the Vremica border crossing point, over 380 thousand citizens were registered.
According to the two countries' border police this year, there has been a growing influx since April. This has led many earlier than other years to increase border police and to work on accelerated procedures to avoid long columns and waiting at the border. / RTK
