The security of Kosovo and its people wants again to have its concern with the former US general who led the NATO bombing campaign in the Kosovo war, Wesley Clark.
He has been offered to Defence Minister Armend Mehaj as adviser to share his military and diplomatic experience.
Minister Mehej, who extended the invitation to visit to Kosovo and whose request was gladly accepted.
General Clark made me a special honor in life and my career by expressing his full will for advice from his military and diplomatic experiences, as well as his extraordinary authority in world decision-making centres. He expressed his full willingness to support with his advice on the realisation of my strategic goals and my operational goals for the development of the Ministry of Defence and KSF”.
Mejaj in his conversation with him told him that he is a national hero for Kosovo.
Clark commanded Allied forces' operation in Kosovo war during his mandate as supreme commander NATO for Europe from 1997 to 2000.
