“Yes discussed a year ago. It's a little incorrect of me, because I had this conversation with former president of the Republic of Kosovo Thaci, but yes, it has been discussed with me”.
Chitaku in Rubik said she had rejected this proposal of former president Thaci, because she had seemed unrealistic to assume the post of first state in that political context.
This subject was opened, and my answer was no, because my political and institutional career I built with my work and I found it extremely serious, especially considering my relationship with President Thaci that I should sit on that chair, while the indictment had become public and it had become clear that the indictment would be confirmed and I found it unrealistic. Ethics is important in politics”.
Speaking of Special Court arrests, Citaku said he is being charged at The Hague KLA, not individuals.
“Mr. Thaci, Mr. Veselin, Mr Selimi and Mr Krasniqi were taken to The Hague by the Special Court, not because they were PDK leaders, LDK, Initiative or VV, but KLA leaders. Whoever says there are individuals in The Hague, and not the KLA, has not read the indictment well”.
