After reading the indictment by prosecutor Musa Mehaj, the accused has not pleaded guilty to the criminal offense to be charged.
Under those circumstances, Judge Errol Gashi has informed the accused of the right to request the dropping of the indictment and to reject the evidence in the 30-day term.
He also made it known that the second review hearing in this case will not be held and that for the eventual requests for dropping the indictment and rejecting evidence, the court will decide out of session.
Also, Judge Gashi has announced that accused Kurtic is barred from house arrest and the same will be protected in freedom.
According to the indictment compiled on June 11th 2021, by Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor, Kifo Kurtic is charged with being accused of being drunk in Fushe Kosovo on June 10, 2021, seriously by acting and gestures by child particularly minor S.K.
As stated in the accusation act, Kurtic acts in a manner that has been followed by axes through the courtyard by striking down the minor S.K., until the infant's mother has intervened to remove him from possible physical assault by bringing him into the house. In this case, it is said that anxiety, concern, fear, and uncertainty are caused by minors and family members.
In this, Kurtic is accused of committing criminal work “canos” by Article 181, paragraph 4 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code, which is sentenced to prison of (1) to five years.
