CEC limits political subject spending for local election campaign

The Central Election Commission made a decision to limit spending on political subjects for the local election campaign, to be held on 17 October.
According to the CEC decision, the higher cost limit is 950 thousand and 633 euros and 40 cents. The CEC's decision supports the non-final voter list, which according to data presented by the CEC contains 1 million and 894 thousand and 254 voters.
Like the CEC rule, limiting campaign spending for municipalities that have more than five thousand (5000) voters is 0.5 euros for registered voters in the respective municipality, while for municipalities with less than five thousand (5000) voters, political subjects are allowed to spend up to 0.7 euros for registered voters in that municipality.
