In December of last year, Britain approved the use of this vaccine for teenagers over the age of 15, while now all who have reached 12 years of age can receive it. The report says that the benefits of the vaccine are against any danger.
However, children are still not being vaccinated against the coronary in Britain because of the slight risk of being seriously affected by the disease, writes the Daily Mail.
According to a study of some 2,000 teenagers, none of them proved positive to Avis-19 after taking two doses of the vaccine compared with 16 infected among those who did not receive the vaccine. Health officials have said it appears that vaccine is effective in children as much as in adults.
The pressure to vaccinate children may increase in the coming months, as it turns out that the most contagious Indian variant is rapidly spreading among them and may increase the likelihood of them getting sick.
