Bosnian MP Balje comments on Ratko Mladic's sentence: Late Justice

Kosovo's Bosniak MP, Duda Balje, has commented on Ratko Mladic's sentence. The former general of the Republika Srpska Army has been sentenced to life imprisonment by The Hague Tribunal for genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity against non-Serb people in the Bosnian war. For us this has been very good news. [...]
For us this has been very good news. It's a delayed justice but it's good that the Tribunal is working after 27 years”, Balje said. RTV Dukagini.
Mladic's “Establishment from a career military to general is the worst message of Serbian nationalism. He has become general after crimes”, she added.
Balje has criticised the Serbian state that treats Mladic as hero.
The worst option is because for Serbia Ratko Mladic is one of the national heroes and every time we said there were genocides in Srebrenica they have rejected such a thing”, Balje said.
Balje has warned of caution on the part of Kosovo institutions regarding the genocide indictment against Serbia. He says the suit must be well prepared in order to win.
