First round of Biden-Putin summit ends

US President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin have concluded the first round of talks at today's summit. Beden and Putin first met accompanied by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as well as their translators. Beden and Putin first met accompanied by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as well as their translators.
Two additional session talks are scheduled to be held later in the day, the AP writes, translates Periscopi.
On the American side, Blinken is expected to be included, but Jake Sullivan and Victoria Nuland are also expected.
It is expected that the entire summit will last between four and five hours before each leader holds a press conference.
