PRESIDENT BEDEN VACSINA FOR COSOVA

On March 19, 2021, I wrote to President Biden asking for the United States' support for the donation of vaccines at the time when Kosovo was the only state in Europe that had not yet begun their management. On April 19, 2021, President Biden responded positively, in which he pledged to handle our request about vaccines. Today, we are happy to announce that President Biden, on behalf of the United States, has decided to donate an important number of COVID-19 vaccines to the Republic of Kosovo.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to President Biden for this generous gesture and donation to the COVID-19 vaccines for the Republic of Kosovo following the request addressed to him in March. Today's official announcement is another evidence of the unwavering support our country enjoys historically from the United States.

President Biden has always been a friend of Kosovo, and this donation illustrates the unhurt care and consideration he continues to show to our people. On behalf of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I thank him warmly.

Kosovo and our institutions continue to remain steadfast in Euro-Atlantic orientation, and the same policy has also followed in providing vaccines.

God bless Kosovo and our ally, the United States of America.
