Ayazi: Ladrovci is not part of any PDK structure, I am the only legitimate candidate

Driton Ajazi is saying he is the only legitimate candidate of the Democratic Party of Kosovo for mayor of the Darnas municipality.

He said he has received support from the PDK branch in Drenas for him to be the party's mayor.

I'm a legitimate candidate. I was appointed by the majority party branch to be a candidate for the next chairman of Drenas. Central has already seen the attitude. Even yesterday. Enver Hoxhaj during a media proposal warned that a party convention will be held where it will be decided for party elected”, he said.

He has called on the PDK's central branch to make a branch structure, on the eve of local elections expected to be held in October of this year.

I had also directed you to the municipality leadership to refresh those branches and vote for PDK. The Drenas branch is highly consolidated. It is the only branch that in the last elections brought victory to the PDK”, Ayazi has declared.

As for the issue of Ramiz Ladrovci's re- running for the mayor of the Drina municipality, Ajazi said he has lost support and support from the branch.

“Z. Ladrovci has been elected chairman, but during the government he was stuck and now he has lost support and support from the branch. Even in recent elections, we have been asked to structures we have told them that we want changes in candidacy and structure”, he said.

He even said Ladrovci has boycotted the PDKL campaign even in the recent elections in Kosovo.

“Everyone knows he has boycotted the recent election campaign in Kosovo. He still doesn't know if his candidacy will be confirmed. If he had it safe, he wouldn't have singled out his candidacy. It felt for both local and local structures. He's already declared himself to be chairman”, he said.

As for the PDK candidate for mayor of the Darnas municipality, Ajazi said no defined decision has been made yet.

Aazi further stated that Ladrovci is not part of any PDK structure, nor at the central level, nor at the local level.

Because I said I was part of that team that Mr. Ladrovci won, we supported him and he won without a run-off. Mr. Ramiz Ladrovci is not part of any PDK structure at either the central or local level. He does not represent PDK. I'm a legitimate candidate. He is only self-declared”, he said, at T7.

PDK Branch member in Drenas has also accused Ladrovci of co-operating with other opposition parties.

The “since taking office, Ladrovci has only approached members of other parties. We have asphyxiators, we have directors. He has received mandate from PDK structures and the electorate The PDK and has had to implement PDK projects. We went according to the party statute. The branch has proposed candidate”, he said.
