Karin Kneissl was ashamed to invite Putin to her wedding. Her dance images with the Russian leader in Gamlitz became viral worldwide in August 2018.

The images, in which Kneissl looks dressed as a bride and dances with Putin were published by Russian state broadcaster Russia Today, the Guardian reports, Periscope records.

These pictures sparked sharp criticism, since it was at the current time a nervous agent attack on Sergei Scripal, believed to have been orchestrated by Russia.

Kneisl had first contact with Putin during her period as foreign minister, a post that was helped to reach him through the extreme right FPO. It is officially not connected to any party.

After leaving the government in 2019, she became a columnist of Russia Today, widely considered the Kremlin's propaganda arm.

The lady in question will join Rosneft as independent director, the company said in a statement.

The amount of money Kneissl will earn from this job is unknown. In that form it follows the steps of German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, who became Putin's friend during his time at the helm of the German Executive Chairman. He had been a member and chairman of the Rosneft Board of Directors for four years by receiving an annual salary of $600,000. /Periscope
