Draghi's government earlier this month changed the advice for vaccines, saying those under 60 should not take the AstraZeneca vaccine because of fear of blood clotting.
The recommendation for those who have already received an AstraZeneca dose to switch to another vaccine sparked a major debate in Italy, if such an approach to combining vaccines was safe, Reuters reports.
