The Assembly ratifys the State Council of Quality in Education, where a member is also loyal to Bislim

With 63 votes for, 9 against and no abstention, Kosovo's Assembly has voted to ratify that decision.

Prior to the approval of these members, Education and Science Minister Arberie Nagavci has said that if the same are not voted, students are in danger of enrolling in the new school year, due to the non-recognition of certain programmes.

It is important that today new KShC members be appointed, because if not then the students cannot register this year”, Nagavci said.

Meanwhile, VV's Commission for Education Chairman Ardian Gola has said the Commission proposes that these members be voted in the Assembly.

While Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Eliza Hoxha declared there are of the candidates who have been falsely declared false.

“We know the importance of appointing these members. There has been enough time since March for this process to begin and to go right. AAK deputy Shemsedin Dresaj also said it is disturbing to him what criteria these candidates have chosen.

The four local members appointed to the KShC are: Hasnija Ilazi, Gezim Tosun, Seb Bytyci and Crenare Piraeus-Nouci, while international members are: Alison Felce, Cassie L. Bernhardt and Werner J. Stueber.
