American Ambassador: As you know, Biden made it clear, we will punish all who destabilise the Balkans

The Ambassador of the United States to Albania, Yuri Kim, has commented on the president's new order, Joe Biden, to be banned from US entry, to all who destabilise the Western Balkans.

At an O Conference The SEU's theme on “joint efforts to combat human trafficking in Albania”, Ambassador Kim has said that Beden's order aims to account for those who violate human rights.

As you know, President Biden and Secretary Blinken have made it clear that corruption, human rights abuses and other destabilizing crimes pose a threat not only to the United States, but to the whole world. And they've instructed all American government agencies to protect the United States and their allies from the damage that causes serious crimes and human rights abuses, such as human trafficking and its impact on our collective security”.

On the other hand, Ambassador Kim said destabilises pose a threat to US national security and foreign policy.

If you get involved in human trafficking, we can stop you from entering the US by suspending your American visa. If you already have that visa, it's none of your business. If you trafficking human beings, the US will take action against your property if there are any links to US”, she said.

At today's conference, European Union Ambassador to Tirana Louis Soreca also attended, who said that the EU for fighting this negative phenomenon would help even non-member countries like Albania.
