Thursday's storm pulled the roofs from a large number of buildings south of Hodon and Breclav districts, rooting out trees and rolling cars.
The most hit countries looked like war zones in videos posted by witnesses, reports the BBC, translates Periscopi.
“It's hell,” said South Moravia regional governor Jan Grolich after visiting the area.
The nationwide search-saving teams, as well as Austria and Slovakia, are working intensively.

Michaela Bothova, spokeswoman for rescue services in South Moravia, told a Czech television that 63 people had been taken to the hospital, ten of them with serious injuries. Of them, three are already dead.
Half the village of Hrusky was destroyed by the tornado, Deputy Mayor Marek Babisz announced. /Periscope
