The chief executive of the Regional Waste Company (KRM) “Unity” in Mitrovica, Gazmend Morina, was sentenced to 4 thousand euros in fines for misuse of official position or authority.
The indictment against him was proclaimed on Wednesday by Judge Velko Vukqitik, reports “The Justice Act”.
Morina was initially sentenced to 6 months in prison, but with his consent, the prison sentence was replaced by fines in the amount of 4,000 euros.
In addition, it is obliged to pay procedures in the amount of 50 euros, as well as 50 others, on behalf of the fund for crime victims.
In the end, Judge Vukqik indicated that against the act the parties have a right to prosecution within the legal deadline.
Otherwise, Morina has been found guilty at the initial session held 29 June.
The Act on Gazmend Morina was founded on May 18th, 2021, by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica.
