5 Key Attitudes Hit by Albin Kurti

Many Vetevendosje militants have looked forward to the day when their leader, Albin Kurti, would become the country's prime minister. But their leader, however, did not become prime minister if we even introduce his positions expressed with much fanaticism. In honor of the 100-day power, Periscopi brought 5 positions [...]

“Where does it lie today, Albin Kurti?” It's the question that an untapped citizen with daily politics can lay on himself. Of course, it is not about where he sleeps - his luxurious home in Taslage, which he pays only 250 euros a month, but about his political stance.

Nobody knows.

  1. Reciprocity

Reciprocity was probably the most mentioned word by Albin Kurti during the 1920s and 2020s. He even, openly promised that setting “Reciprocity to Serbia” would be a matter of weeks and weeks “and, of course, months”.

That's not what happened.

Knowing that Serbia would not agree to sit at the negotiating table with its move of reciprocity, Kurti did not decide it.

He argued customs officials should be prepared for this. Of course, last year as prime minister he had placed “Reciprocity” after removing “the 100%” meeting.

  1. Conditions for Negotia with Serbia

At this point, Albin Kurti has violated a series of attitudes that are putting everything into this point. Start with “No Negociata”, continued with “Negotia under conditions”, all ended in the end with the fulfillment of Serbia's conditions for entering Negociata.

The conditions Albin Kurti urged from Serbia to sit at the table with their political representatives were among the most important two: The war crimes apology and war damages.

On June 15, the issue also came to an end.

  1. Current fee for northern Serbs

The Kurti II government has taken over the payment of the unpaid electricity for a year of Kosovo Serbs living irresponsiblely in the country's north.

Now for a long time, this community in this part has been privileged by all Kosovo governments, and this had rightly been criticised by Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje. But this political party, and this political leader, did the same.

About 11m euros will be separated from the taxes of responsible Kosovo citizens -- Albanians, Serbs, Roma, Ashkali, Egyptians, Bosniaks, Croats, Montenegrins for northern Serb citizens.

Unfortunately, Serbs in the country's north are even using the flow from Kosovo to bring down Bitcoin, which is too expensive, as reported worldwide.

  1. Green Carton

The Green Carton paid by exiles had been another promise by Kurt. He had rightly considered such a payment, believed to be worth 15 euros, to be unfair.

But this proved to be a wrong policy for which Kosovo's poor citizens will already pay about 6m euros.

The removal of the border policy and relief of the pocket of exiles occurred, but the even poorer pocket of Kosovo residents was heavy.

The Green Carton became Red Carton to the citizens of the country.

  1. Internal Dialogue With Country Serbs

Prime Minister Kurti has promised several times before coming to power that he will make internal “log with the country's Serbs” before making dialogue with Serbia.

As we all know, even this has not happened. Kurti is sitting at a table with Vucinqi in Brussels, until there is even no government initiative for Kosovo to increase influence on the country's Serbs.

Furthermore, Serbia is the one who has increased pressure and even influence on Kosovo Serbs, who nearly 95 per cent have voted Republika Srpska List. /Periscope
