Despite COVID-19 pandemic, citizens from Kosovo continue to choose Albania as a destination to spend weekend days.

During Friday and Saturday, at the Vremica border crossing from Kosovo to Albania, 41 thousand and 146 people and about 12,000 vehicles, based on Kosovo Police data.

From Kosovo police, they have reported on Telegrafia that during Friday they have spent 5 000 and 574 cars with 19 thousand and 374 citizens. And on yesterday alone, there are 6 thousand 158 cars with 21,772 passengers.

Also, 261 buses have passed during this period.

Police show that there have been a total of 23 thousand and 3 cars in three border regions during these two days with 74 thousand and 567 people.

Albania's Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has announced that all those who want to travel towards Albania have no restrictions either for COVID-19 test or any particular document.
