Anti-Corruption Agency Director Shaip Havolli has said 4 thousand and 892 officials have had the obligation to declare their property.
HavolI stressed that the property declared by officials are publishing for these two days.
“4 thousand 892 officials have been forced to declare the property. 56 officials have declared property after the deadline, 25 officials have not declared wealth, and 28 officials have not declared property with reason. There are several reasons, which have been more in custody with the screwdriver and the”, he stressed at the Debat Plus RTV Duguagjini.
Asked how the value of the assets of these officials is determined, Havolli confirmed that with the current law, the value of property is determined by officials themselves.
“With current law, the value of wealth is the prejudged value of the market and any official can make a prejudge value for his wealth. With the new law in the draft, wealth will have the value of contract... and heredity will have the value of 0. All assets from now on will amount to”, he said.
