By 30 April, Mitrovica's procurement has announced the winner of the tender “maintenance and expansion of the city's public lighting network”. The projected value of the contract for three years has been 480 thousand euros. The winners have been announced the “Termomontation” from Pristina, worth 580, 38 euros per entity.

Prices for different positions are much lower than market prices by 100 percent, and some higher. News.net saw the winning company's offer. It has set a price of 1 euros in columns, while it has set endorses to cable supply.

Failure to balance prices with the market raises doubts that the winning company may have been better informed than other companies for the project.

The municipality has placed 78 items in advance, and there are no figures in the demand for quantity of products, but positions are set only by one entity, so that companies could then put their prices in each of them.

The winning bid went against an article in the Public Procurement Law, at the “scale not normally low”. Regarding the accepted bid, the municipality has had to ask for additional information in detail from the company regarding the prices set, but it hasn't.

In this regard, the Mitrovica municipality has not wanted to give any explanation for the news.net.

News.net has looked at the Kosovo market at all prices of positions and compared them to the winning company's offer. There are about 20 products offered by the winning company that have been set up low endors or high endors.
